I'll have my regular post out this afternoon...rain odds continue to look good for the next week to ten days.

We saw three different storms build up yesterday afternoon and evening...one in Atascosa County that drifted NE, then south, one in Comal County and to the north of Austin in Williamson County. 2.5 inch hail was reported in Jourdanton and 1.5 inch hail in Andice, NE of Georgetown. The highest rainfall totals I have seen were 1 inch in Campbellton and 1.76 inches in Georgetown.

For April rains, it all depended on where you live...the Hill Country, along the coast and central sections of south-central were at or above normal for rainfall totals, while most of south Texas saw much below normal rainfall. No surprise that we are still seeing drought conditions throughout south and south-central Texas at the end of April. Lake levels continue to drop for almost all of our area lakes.

Hoping some decent May rains put a dent in our ever-present drought conditions!
