While there is still a chance that a random severe storm could pop up later this afternoon, as of post time there is absolutely nothing on radar. We do have a tiny chance for severe storms over the weekend, but the bigger story will be the heat and humidity. Details below!
The models are still hinting at a potential rain event next week, but there is nothing close to a consensus at the moment, with a few models thinking all of our area could see some rain and most shifting any activity to our north. A lot has to do with the dry line and how far south a cool front goes before becoming stationary. I’ll have another update tomorrow!
