A mostly cloudy and mild day out there with a few scattered storms across our area as of post time. At the moment, most of the activity is in Central Texas, but a few showers and storms have developed in the Hill Country and near San Antonio. Scattered activity (best odds for our western counties) will be the case for another 24hrs, then as our upper-level low moves in from Mexico, we should see an increase in activity for late Friday through Saturday morning. As of post time, the best chances for rain will be south of HWY 90. We will see another chance for storms on Sunday night as another cool front moves through. As is the case this time of the year, there is a chance that any storms through Sunday night could become severe, with hail and high winds the biggest threat.
