After an active morning for the northern Hill Country, most of the storms have now gone poof, despite the cool front going stationary north of San Antonio this afternoon. The front should start moving south again later today and may spark some new storms, mainly for our western counties. The best rain odds shift far to the SW tomorrow, then return late on Friday through Saturday morning as the upper level-low over Baja California finally moves eastward into our area. It’s still tricky to know how much rain this low will produce, but the latest model runs look promising for most of us recording ¼ to over an inch of rain by Saturday. The CPC continues to forecast better than 50-50 odds for above normal rainfall for the next two weeks!
