A storm complex to our north has resulted in a Severe Thunderstorm watch to be issued for Burnet, Georgetown and Giddings in south-central Texas. These storms are mainly moving eastward and are not expected to impact the rest of our area.
For us, mainly PM poppers today and tomorrow, before high pressure takes up residence through Monday of next week. An upper-level trough and cool front will be our next potential rainmaker from Tuesday through the first weekend in May.
