While Erin will likely become a major hurricane this week, as of post time, models are currently keeping it out to sea and away from the USA. I don’t think anyone will be disappointed! Below are the latest spaghetti models and update from the NHC.

As for us, just chances for very scattered pm poppers over the next few days as an inverted trough allows for just enough break in the high pressure to allow sea breeze to form. Models continue to look a bit more bullish for rain after the 20th, but still no major rain event in site.

For fun, I have posted the latest Farmer’s Almanac forecast for the winter. If they end up getting it right, then look out for a wet and cold winter, which would be great!
