Another “not so hot” day behind yesterday’s cool front, with temperatures mainly in the 80’s and low 90’s as of post time. Several of the short-range models are calling for some scattered storms to develop over the Hill Country this afternoon…I hope the forecast pans out! For the rest of us, mainly cloudy skies with close to zero odds for any rainfall. On Sunday a disturbance moves through east Texas, giving our far NE and Eastern counties a chance for some severe storms. For the rest of us, mainly hot and humid as our front goes “poof” overnight and our southerly winds return.

A chance for scattered storms later in the week as an upper-level low moves out of the SW into the plains and the dry-line and cool front throw some energy our way. Unfortunately, the big rains will stay in north Texas and Oklahoma, leaving us with weather scraps!

As promised, below are some graphics for how much rain fell over the past five days. I’ll post the final rainfall totals for the month of May tomorrow…most of our area did quite well!
