Based on what I’m seeing with the latest model runs, it’s best to just be happy that we will have daily rain chances from scattered PM Poppers and not focus on how much rain will fall. With this scenario, your neighbor may find dust in their rain gauge while yours has an inch of rain in it! Here’s what the NWS has to say, “Tuesday the ridge will begin to break down. Deeper moisture will surge into the region increasing PW values. The increased moisture and the weakening subsidence will allow showers and thunderstorms to form during the afternoon and evening starting Tuesday and then each afternoon and evening through Saturday. This pattern is looking very summer-like. It should be ordinary convection with only moderate rainfall and wind gusts. Thursday and Friday look to have the best chances for convection.”

CPC long range outlooks continue to look promising for June!
