Not much change since yesterday’s post, with the remnants of Lorena mixing with Gulf moisture and a cool front that will take a dive into south Texas on Sunday. While we could see some storms tomorrow afternoon, the best odds for rain will be Sunday through Monday morning. Models are forecasting 1/2-2 inches for the Hill Country, western counties and along the coast. For the rest of the area, 1/4-1 inch. As a bonus, we won’t be seeing those molten highs in the 100’s like we have over the past few days…looks like 80’s-90’s for most spots for Saturday-Monday. Other than the remnants of Lorena from the Pacific, the only thing we are watching in the tropical Atlantic is 91L, which is still way out there! Still too early to know what will happen with this low pressure, with models sending it mainly away from the Gulf for now.
Fingers crossed for everyone this weekend…we are currently in a bad drought in SW Colorado and hoping for rain as well!
