It happens every summer…Ditto Weather! After a very long spell of untypical July weather, we have settled into a more typical pattern of hot and humid days without much, if any chances for rain in the next 5 days. As of post time, most of the models are hinting at another Gulf disturbance forming later next week and potentially giving us another rain event. Here’s what our NWS is saying…”There are some signals of a second Gulf disturbance similar to 93L bringing some opportunity for rain later in the week, but there is considerable uncertainty at this time.” I will certainly be monitoring the tropics, since we all know that August and September are our busiest months for activity.
