Here we go!

As of post time, the arctic front is in north Texas, making its way southward. Ahead of the front is a large area of rain and a few thunderstorms from moisture and disturbances coming in from the Pacific from a large low pressure which is now off of the Baja. The low moves eastward over the next 48hrs, bringing snow, sleet and ice to Texas. Below are all of the details from the NWS, but one thing they aren’t mentioning is another arctic front is due to arrive next week and by next Friday we could be dealing with a good chance for snow! More on that over the next couple of days. Also, liquid totals from this storm continue to look pretty decent between today and Sunday morning.
