A wetter and less hot pattern change starts Sunday night and will continue through at least the rest of next week! Again, the latest forecast discussion sums it up well from the NWS…”Increasingly stormy outlook for Memorial day with strong to severe storms possible throughout the period. A very active and messy weather pattern begins with daily/nightly chances (30-50%) of showers and storms and temperatures trending slightly After Monday.”
While the big player will be a cool front that will go stationary somewhere around south Texas on Wednesday and Thursday, several disturbances from the west will drift our direction starting on Sunday night. The models are still all over the place, not being able to figure our just where the front goes stationary and for how long. As I mentioned yesterday, don’t focus on what the models are forecasting right now, just be happy that we have chances for rain every day next week!
