Latest model runs are forecasting a big complex of storms to form in north Texas this evening, then head south during the night. These storms may graze our NE counties (including Austin) tomorrow morning, before going poof before lunch. This may set the stage for another storm complex to form in the Hill Country tomorrow night as forecast by the latest HRRR model. These storms could grow to severe levels, then drift south into counties along HWY 90, including San Antonio and possibly counties to the SE of San Antonio.

As a front drifts slowly southward on Tuesday into the Hill Country, look for more storms to form, continuing through Saturday as the front goes stationary just to the south of San Antonio. There is still a lot of ifs ands and sore butts about where the front will end up and how much rain will fall during this period. We should know more over the next 24-48hrs.

Rain odds do not go away after this event…there will be more rain chances over the next two weeks!
