Our strong front is currently on a line from Laredo to Gonzales to Tyler. Behind the front, winds are gusting out of the north 20-30mph and will be increasing during the night and tomorrow, which is why the NWS has issued a Red Flag Warning from 10am to 7pm on Wednesday for most of our area. Details from the NWS are below in the graphics.
Look for highs tomorrow, even under sunny skies to stay in the 60’s and 70’s and by Thursday morning, there could be some freeze warnings issued for the Hill Country. For the rest of the area, 40’s will be the norm for lows. While we will start gradually warming up, temperatures will stay nice through the weekend with lows in the 50’s and highs in the 70’s. Still no signs of a rain event anytime soon.
As you have probably heard, Cat 5 Melissa slammed into Jamaica this morning as is now heading for Cuba and then the Bahamas.
