Back to normal temperatures next week!

1-7-26. 4:30pm This Update is brought to you by Dietz Mclean Optical Company. www.dmoptical.com As a family-owned business, our independence, in house lab, great customer service and eyewear warranties, allows us to tailor your eyeglasses, lenses, and fittings: we want you to only expect the best after working with us. With six conveniently located optical shops in San Antonio, Boerne, Marble Falls and Temple, it’s easy to love what you see.

We’re back in the 80’s for many locations today, despite a foggy morning. Another two days of spring-like afternoons before a Pacific front, followed by a Canadian Front hot on its heels arrives late on Friday. Winds will gust out of the NW to over 30mph Friday night and Saturday so fire weather and objects blowing around will be a concern. Colder air will drop our lows into the 30’s and 40’s from Sunday-Tuesday and some cities like San Antonio, who haven’t seen an official freeze yet, could experience their first of the season (very late!)

If you like it to feel more like winter than late-spring, you’ll love the next week and potentially, the rest of the month, as cool air stays in place. As for rain, the long-range models are still bullish for the high pressure to move out around the 12th, allowing us to finally see some decent rain chances the second half of the month.
