I know things can change and we’ll probably end up with a foot of snow in February, but so far, this is really looking like the “Winter that Wasn’t!”. Despite it being early January, we continue to see springtime highs in the 80’s and will likely set more records through Thursday. On Friday, we finally get some cold air to move through, dropping our temperatures into the 30’s and 40’s for lows this weekend with highs in the 50’s and 60’s. While this will feel chilly, these temperatures are fairly close to what the average highs and lows should be this time of the year.

As for our rain odds, still nothing but some drizzle potential for the next week. The models continue vacillate on when we could see our next rain event, with some thinking as early as the 12th and others after the 15th. As I have been saying all week, until they all agree, I don’t trust them.

Since we can’t control the weather, continue to enjoy wearing your shorts and taking advantage of these incredibly warm January temperatures!
