The NWS does a good job summing up this week’s weather!

Above normal temperatures to continue across all of south central Texas through Friday, with near record high temperatures mainly Tuesday and Wednesday. 

Late night and morning fog the next couple of days with some patchy, dense fog possible in the coastal plains. 

A cold front on Friday brings cooler temperatures and increased fire weather concerns late this week into early next week.

This Friday’s “Seasonal Front” should drop our lows into the 30’s and 40’s and keep our highs in the 60’s through the weekend. Our average lows are 40’s and highs in the 60’s for most of our area. While there still appears we could see some rainfall around the 12th-15th, the models continue to forecast almost zero to over 2 inches…no sign of any consensus! The GFS thinks some artic air could drop down around the 20th, but I’m not ready to jump on board over two weeks out on any model!
