It could be worse! A nice day out there with temperatures in the 70’s for most locations, including my place in SW CO, where the high is supposed to be 50 degrees this time of the year. We have already broken our record high for the date, set back in 1907! The Hell High is anchored over the west, but will slowly move east towards Texas over the next couple of days, raising temperatures into the 90’s by Friday. We could be seeing record highs for both Saturday and Sunday before the high breaks down a little next week and we return to the 80’s.
As for rain chances, still nothing in the short term, but long range models continue to look more bullish for precipitation around the end of the month and early April.
