As forecast by most of the models, our heavier rain and storms stayed north of HWY 90 and I-10 East yesterday afternoon and last night. My weather station in Helotes (NW Bexar County) recorded 0.73 inches of rain. Most Hill Country locations recorded 1/2-2 inches of rain over the past 24hrs and most locations south of HWY 90 and I-10 recorded 0-1/2 inches. There is still a chance that some of our far eastern counties could pick up additional rain totals over the next two hours as storms are still to your west.

There was a report of 4.5 inch hail just south of Leaky yesterday and 2.75 inches near Vanderpool with that tornado warned super-cell that moved through the area.

High pressure takes over for at least the next 7-10 days…I’ll have a drought update and a look down the weather road tomorrow.

How much rain fell at your place and where?
