Nice to see a few rain lottery winners yesterday and today in south Texas. We had one location in Wilson County recording over 2 inches of rain and quite a few locations in and around Corpus with 1-3 inch totals! While there is a chance for more rain tomorrow as the front moves through around mid-day, most of the activity will stay in central and north Texas. Tomorrow’s front will be pretty wimpy, with highs moving back into the low 80’s by Tuesday and lows in the 50’s. On Tuesday night, a booster front moves through, giving us a true taste of fall weather just in time for Thanksgiving! With morning lows in the 30’s and 40’s, you may be able to build a fire and wear long-sleeve shirts for the day as highs are only expected to reach the 60’s! Don’t blink because SE winds return on Friday and temperatures will head back into the 70’s again.

Our next chance for rain will come next weekend, but it’s too early to know how decent our rain odds will be. Models are all over the place in regard to rain chances and when a shot of some cold air will arrive, but it's looking like somewhere around the beginning of December.

If you lucked into some rainfall over the past 24hrs, let us know where and how much!

The low pressure that was over Baja yesterday has made its way NE and is almost on top of our home in Pagosa Springs, CO! We had an inch of snow this morning and more importantly, almost a half an inch of liquid precipitation. This low will be producing severe storms over west Texas this afternoon. This morning's storms over south Texas came from Pacific moisture via Mexico.
