While not exactly summertime heat, we will come close to skipping winter and spring with temperatures rising into the upper 80’s and lower 90’s tomorrow and Thursday as SW winds usher in desert heat. A wimpy dry front arrives on Thursday evening, but highs will still rise into the 80’s through the weekend.

From the NWS: “A pattern change could emerge toward the middle of next week as most of the models show an upper low developing in the desert southwest.” This is our next potential rainmaker. As of today, most of the models are forecasting some rain with this low, but the Euro model continues to think it will be a true rain event with rain totals of 1-4 inches for our area. As always, it will depend on how far south the low digs next week…and over the past several years, the lows often take a more NE track, leaving most of us high and dry. I will continue to update you guys on what could be a great rainmaker for us.
