I’m looking over the latest model data and in the short term, a cool front is forecast to die over the Hill Country around Friday, giving us a slight chance for scattered storms over south-central and south Texas on Thursday and Friday. Looking further down the road, three of the models are now forecasting another cool front to move through around the 22nd or 23rd, along with a disturbance, that will not only cool us down to the 60’s for lows, but lower our highs into the 80’s. As a bonus, the models are giving us a good chance for rain with this system. Still too early to get excited, but nice to see something positive for a change.

We may see a tropical something form in the next 7days in the Atlantic, but as of today this storm will not be a threat to Texas.
