As one upper-level low moves north into the Panhandle, another one will be moving west into the Gulf from Florida over the next few days, eventually coming onshore into south Texas. While there will be increased odds for rain along the coast and coastal plains on Friday and Saturday. Unfortunately, the heavier rains will stay confined to the upper Texas coast and into Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. As of post time, the NHC has no concerns about this low becoming something tropical.

Once this system moves through, we are back to muggy and rain free weather for the rest of the month.

Our upper-level low is now up in the Panhandle, giving some of us some cloudy skies.

The next upper-level low will increase rain odds on Friday-Saturday, primarily in the green zone.
