Storms are still happening in far south Texas as I make this post, but for most of the area, the rain has moved out. This is not the end of rain chances...we will see additional storms later today through Friday, and scattered storms this weekend. I'll have an update out later today.

A great night for the western counties and even around Victoria on the other side of South Texas. My rain gauge in NW San Antonio picked up 0.77 inches. Unfortunately, the storms broke up around San Antonio and locations east of I-35 didn't do so well, rainfall wise...a bit unusual! There were reports of wind damage in the Sabinal area and marble size hail in Val Verde county. With rain totals over 2 inches in many locations in the Hill Country, hopefully our lakes will get a boost in their levels.

How much rain fell at your place and where?
