While some spots in south central Texas did well yesterday, (my station in Helotes recorded 0.90 inches of rain) most of you living south of HWY 90 saw little to zero rainfall. Fortunately, thanks to our spinning low over Baja and yesterday’s cold front, we have seen multiple rounds of storms form in south Texas today with some locations receiving over 2 inches of rain today. As of post time, there are still some storms to the SW of San Antonio and to the north of Corpus…these cells are moving ENE. This precipitation should start winding down by tonight and our rain chances will drop to low percentages through Monday. By Tuesday, our low pressure over Baja will trek our direction increasing our rain odds by Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday. There will also be another chance for severe weather during this time frame, so keeping your alerts and NOAA radio on is a good idea!

How rain has fallen on your backyard and where?
