From the NWS:

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM SUNDAY TO NOON CST MONDAY...North winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected following the passage of a cold front.

Today's headliner cold front was rolling through the Texas Panhandle and North Texas as of noon today and is rapidly diving south towards our area. It is on track to arrive this evening, reaching the Hill Country and southern Edwards Plateau by around 6-8 PM CST, Austin and San Antonio areas around 7-10 PM CST, and across the Coastal and Rio Grande Plains between about 9 PM to midnight, bringing a very abrupt end to the recent stretch of unseasonably warm and humid days.

The primary effects of the polar cold front include:
- Windy conditions with strong gusts this evening through Monday morning.
- Much cooler temperatures and wind chills.
- Elevated to near-critical fire weather Monday.

A thin line of quickly-moving showers is expected along the front, but the fast motion should limit rain totals to about a trace to
about a tenth of an inch mainly along and east of I-35 over the Coastal Plains.

Highs on Monday Monday will be in the 40's and low 50's.
