Despite a nice cool beginning to our day with lows in the 50’s and 60’s for most of us, temperatures have once again zoomed back up into the 90’s again. A wimpy dry front will move through tomorrow, dropping our highs back into the 80’s before Friday night’s front arrives. This front looks promising for delivering some badly needed rain as an upper level trough is now being forecast by many of the models, aiding and abetting our rain odds Friday night and Saturday morning. There has been a positive trend over the past 24hrs for rain coverage and totals…let’s hope this trend continues!
98L in the tropics is now likely to become a depression or tropical storm in the next week, but the spaghetti models continue to send this future storm to the north, then northeast.
