I know it’s April fools day, but trust me when I say rain chances are coming back this month! Our first system tonight and tomorrow morning will mainly impact our northern counties but this weekend’s cold front looks very promising for dropping some decent rain totals in south-central and south Texas.
Look for storms to start forming in west Texas this afternoon and evening, then moving SE during the night. As of post time, it looks like the storms will weaken dramatically as they move south in the early hours on Thursday morning. Rain chances return late on Friday and reach a peak on Saturday as a slow moving front moves through, producing the potential for some thunderstorms and showers ahead of, along and after the front has passed. Easter could be rainy, cloudy, windy and cool, with highs only in the 60’s.
