A fantastic day out there with highs mainly in the 60’s across our area. Temperatures will drop quickly tonight so if you are in the Hill Country or some rural valleys, you might want to cover your plants just in case, as lower 30’s are possible. For the rest of us, mainly upper 30’s and 40’s. Look for another beautiful day tomorrow with highs in the 60’s and low 70’s. By Wednesday, most of our area will see 70’s again for highs. A wimpy front blows through late on Wednesday, but will not impact our temperatures, with 70’s continuing into the weekend. Yesterday I mentioned a strong cold front for the weekend, but as of today, the models have changed their minds and are keeping the colder air to our north.

Rainfall chances may inch up next week with most of the models now forecasting some rain moving into our area around the middle of the week. It’s not a drought breaker, but any rain would be a good thing! I’ve got the latest model updates below.
