A seasonal front has pushed through San Antonio as of post time, cooling our very warm December temperatures from the 80’s into the 60’s and winds gusting out of the NW at 25mph. We’ll see 40’s for lows and 60’s for highs the next couple of days before we warm back up into the 70’s and 80’s on Wednesday and Thursday. Our next front arrives on Friday with some chilly air behind it…we will likely have lows in the 30’s and 40’s and highs in the 50’s over the weekend.
As far as our rain odds go, I don’t see a drop anywhere in the state for the next week (very unusual given how large Texas is!). Long-range models are still forecasting a chance for rain starting around the 18th and extending into the last week of December. The latest CPC outlook is giving us 50/50 odds for “Near Normal” rainfall during that period.
