A seasonal front has moved through San Antonio as of post time, switching winds into the NW and knocking down temperatures a few degrees. I am surprised to see that many locations in south Texas surpassed 80 degrees this afternoon! The front will lower our lows into the upper 30’s and 40’s and drop our highs to the 60’s through Thursday, then it’s back to the 70’s by Friday.

As for rain chances, they remain slim, with most of the models now forecasting less than a quarter of an inch for most spots next week between Tuesday and Thursday. I’m hoping that we see more bullish rain chances as we get closer to next week, but it’s hard to stay optimistic when the trend has been in the opposite direction for so long.
