Some locations saw 60’s this morning!

When you can’t find much to talk about, weather wise, then you discuss morning lows in the 60’s for many locations in the Hill Country and rural valleys! With drier air in place behind our early season cool front, most of you saw lower temperatures than we have recently been having. That will change quicky as warm and humid air is moving back in as I type! By tomorrow, heat indexes will be back up into the 100’s again.

As is typical for early August, high pressure will continue to rule and temps will remain high. As we move towards the middle of the month there are signs that the high will move towards the eastern states. If that happens, we should see an increase in afternoon coastal shower activity. For now, unless something develops in the tropics, we will continue to see very little, if any rain.
