A trough and cool front will give us an additional chance (better odds as of post time) for rain late Friday and Saturday. As has been the case over the past months, the better chances for rain will be along and north of a Del Rio to San Antonio line, with south Texas getting very little out of either system.
Temperatures will remain much above average this week, with potential record highs on Thursday, as our highs may end up in the mid to upper 80’s. Looking at long range models, I continue to not see any major arctic outbreaks in our future.
Enjoy a combo of football and Olympics today!
