Look for several chances for rain next week, starting on Monday. Here’s what the NWS has to say: “An active weather pattern begins Sunday and continues through the remainder of the long term forecast period. An upper level trough will remain situated over the central Rockies and eject a series of disturbances out over the Plains states.” Best odds will be Thursday and Friday as a cool front moves through our area.

Below is the latest drought update…we continue to see a lessening of the drought, but our area lake levels are not making much, if any progress.

As has been the case for a month now, the CPC continues to put us in the better than even odds for above normal rainfall for the next two weeks!
