Another nice morning with lows in the 50’s and 60’s across our area. Lows will warm into the 60’s and low 70’s by Tuesday and highs will move into the low to mid 90’s before a wimpy dry front pushes through on Thursday, knocking our temps back to the 60’s for lows and highs in the upper 80’s to low 90’s. Almost a zero chance for rain over the next 7-10 days. The Euro model thinks we could see a shot for rain around the 12th, but the GFS model continues with a dry forecast through that time period.

We now have tropical storm Imelda in the Atlantic which is forecast to become a hurricane on Tuesday, right around the time it makes a hard right to the NE, taking it away from the USA. With fronts moving through fairly regularly now, the odds of a hurricane hitting Texas are very low and the latest Tropical Hazards Map (see below) confirms that.

On the plus side, if you have any outdoor activities, construction projects, or hay bailing to do, this is perfect weather!
