Far south Texas has seen some rain today, but for the most part, no surprise MCS systems (mesoscale convective system) like yesterday! Look for seasonal temps with highs in the 90’s and lows in the 70’s and close to zero odds for rain (unless you live near the beach) through Wednesday. On Thursday, an inverted trough moves into south Texas and rain odds will ramp up down there and along the lower coastal plains, but as of today, it looks mostly dry for south-central Texas. Wildly scattered storms will increase over the weekend, but the models have dried things up quite a bit over the past 24hrs…it’s a good thing many of you got yesterday’s bonus rain! Still nothing brewing in the tropics as of this post time.
