It’s certainly not the way I like my weather, but with most of us in extreme drought right now, I guess any kind of moisture is better than nothing! Cold and wet weather will stick around for another 24hrs, then by Saturday we’re back to shorts with temperatures under sunny skies moving back into the 70’s. We cool down a little on Sunday as a dry front moves through, lowering our highs into the 60’s on Monday, but by the middle of next week we are back into the 70’s again with no more rain events for at least a week. The 6-10 and 8-14 day outlooks from the CPC put us in better than 50-50 odds for above normal temps and below normal rain (except for far south Texas and the LRGV).

If you find more than a few hundredths of an inch of rain in your gauge, let us know where!
