A few more of you picked up some drizzle and light rain overnight and early this morning…I have 48hr rainfall totals below. This will be our last cloudy day for awhile as high pressure will rule for at least a week, and likely longer. We warm up tomorrow under sunny skies as our winds shift into the SW ahead of a seasonal front that arrives on Sunday. Monday and Tuesday will give us lows in the 30’s-40’s and highs in the 60’s. Wednesday and beyond will give us 50’s at night and 70’s during the day. With no rain in sight in the short term, it will be a great stretch of weather for doing just about anything outside, although swimming may be a bit nippy!

Long-range models are hinting of a wetter pattern moving in around the 20th and lasting through the end of the month. As of today I’m not seeing any arctic air in the next 10 days but at least one model is forecasting an arctic outbreak on Christmas Eve…that’s worth keeping an eye on!
