Rain chances from Friday through next Friday!

No change in the dynamics of what will give us a chance for showers and thunderstorms from Friday-Sunday…a dry-line in West Texas and an upper-level low over the Four Corners. The best odds for rain will be Sunday as the energy from the upper-level low moves across Texas. Best chance for precipitation continues to be in the northern counties of south-central Texas, central Texas and north Texas. The good news is that rain odds will not go away next week but will continue through at least next Friday. As you can see from most of the model runs, by the end of next week, many of us will have found some rain in our gauges!
