No changes over the past 24hrs. From the NWS: “ Continued hot and dry for most of South Central Texas for the next seven days. A few spots in the Coastal Plains could reach Heat Advisory criteria briefly this and Thursday and Friday afternoons. There is a slight chance for showers or a thunderstorm or two over the Coastal Plains and the Rio Grande Plains this afternoon and again across the Coastal Plains on Thursday and each afternoon through early next week.”

Still nothing brewing in the tropics and nothing showing up tropical wise, in any of the long-range models.
