Hot and humid days ahead…
6-13-25. 2:30pm This Update is brought to you by Davy Ranch Supply. We have an extensive supply of fencing materials including barbed and netting wire, t-posts, cedar and treated posts, brace and twist pipe, staples, clips, and welded panels. We also stock 7 different types of medium and heavy-duty gates ranging in length from 4 ft - 20 ft. We sell galvanized portable panels and 24 ft free-standing pipe panels, too. We have concrete and poly water troughs in various sizes along with a selection bunk and hay feeders. www.davyranchsupply.com
The only downside to our recent rains will be added humidity, which will keep our heat indexes toasty for awhile. Look for a chance for wildly scattered pm poppers today and tomorrow afternoon.
I've included some graphics for rainfall totals over the past 5 days...I'm hoping we put a dent in next week's drought conditions! For the next 5-7 days, mainly hot and humid, but the models are all thinking some sort of tropical wave or disturbance may move in around the 19th or 20th, giving us our next rain event...that would be awesome for late June, which is often a dry period for us.
The latest ENSO update is out and for the near future, "La Nada" will rule. "Synopsis: ENSO-Neutral is likely in the Northern Hemisphere summer 2025 (82% chance in June-August) and may continue into winter 2025-26, though confidence is lower (48%
chance of Neutral and 41% chance of La Niña in November-January). " I'm still expecting an active tropical season due to Neutral conditions...we shall see!
