There is a chance for afternoon sea breeze poppers today and tomorrow (mainly the coastal plains) before high pressure that is currently over the 4 Corners, migrates SE to the northern Gulf this week. Once the high is in place, almost all activity will be squashed for at least 7-10 days.

We continue to watch the tropics as a wave coming off of Africa is now forecast to have a 50% chance for developing into a storm over the next week. Too soon to be concerned, especially with it being thousands of miles away and plenty of time to curve to the NE before getting anywhere close to us!

I've posted this year's Farmer's Almanac forecast for this winter. Based on a strong El Niño, their forecast is what I would expect for Texas!
