Thanks to being on the wrong side of tropical storm Arthur, all we are going to get out of the system is some very hot and humid weather, especially tomorrow, when our heat indices are forecast to rise into the 110’s! No surprise that the NWS has issued an extreme heat warning for most of south-central Texas. For the rest of you, a heat advisory for tomorrow. Graphics and details below.

A front will get close enough (central Texas) on Friday and Saturday to stir up our atmosphere, allowing for some scattered storms on both days. As of post time, the best odds for rain will be in our far western and northern counties. Hopefully some of you to the west of San Antonio, who go little from this past system, will get in on some action on Friday and Saturday. Unless something changes, I’m seeing just typical summer weather for next week with lows in the 70’s and highs in the 90’s. There could be a few scattered sea breeze storms in the afternoons, especially along the coast and coastal plains.
