April will certainly not be a clone of March! The CPC’s latest outlooks keep us at better than 50/50 odds for above normal rainfall for the next two weeks. A four corners system from the SW will give us our next chance for rain over the weekend as upper level Pacific moisture moves in from the SW and SE winds at the surface bring in Gulf humidity. A dry line will form to our west, aiding in the development of potentially severe storms.
In the short term, look for pleasant temperatures and dry conditions through Thursday, with lows in the 50’s and 60’s and highs in the 70’s and 80’s. Rain chances increase on Friday through Sunday.
