For those of you who were fortunate enough to have seen some decent rain over the past few days, consider yourselves almost as lucky as the Powerball winner in Fredericksburg on Saturday night! It was great to see some of the hardest hit drought counties, like Medina, record over 3 inches of rain in spots. Unfortunately, for those of you who saw little to no rain, we may have to wait over a week before we see decent rain odds returning. High pressure is now in control and the tropics are absolutely void of any potential storms for the next seven days.
A slight touch of fall in the air today as lows were in the 60’s for most of south-central Texas and highs have only been in the 80’s and low 90’s. Tomorrow morning should be just as cool, but we will start warming back up to the mid 90’s for highs by Wednesday.
Below are 48hr rainfall totals, the latest model runs through the 23rd, the NHC update and the CPC outlooks.
