Happy Valentines Day!
Great to see the radar finally lighting up this afternoon! A front and disturbance are moving through our area, producing some thunderstorms and pockets of some decent rain totals. My weather station in NW Bexar County has recorded just over a quarter of an inch and more storms are heading that way. I’m happy to see that the storms are even as far south as Eagle Pass…hopefully, some of you to the south of San Antonio will get in on the act as this system moves eastward in the next few hours.
Don’t forget to keep your NOAA weather radio or emergency apps on this afternoon…there is a chance that some of these storms will become severe. High winds and large hail are the greatest threat.
