Our rain chances depend on a cold front and what happens to an upper-level low over southern California. As of today, we will see a tiny chance for severe storms tonight along a dry line in west Texas. These storms are likely to stay to our NW. Tomorrow night there will be another chance for severe storms as a cold front moves into our area. From that point on we will watch the track of the upper-level low and whether it holds together before moving through our area on Saturday. As if moves this direction, storms and showers will kick up ahead of the system on Friday and then on Saturday as it passes. We may see another round of rain chances late Sunday and early Monday as another cool front moves in. Longer range models show another chance for rain late next week.

Not to be redundant, but the CPC continues to keep us in the better than even odds for above normal rainfall through the 19th! May could be another great month for us rain wise.
