The front is moving through…now where’s the rain?

As of post time, the front has moved through all of south-central Texas and is currently moving into south Texas. While temperatures are dropping nicely behind the front, so far there has been very little activity developing along the front. The latest model runs continue to forecast showers and thunderstorms for later this afternoon and evening…we just need them to turn into reality! Sunday will be mostly dry, then a combination of several disturbances and a coastal low developing along the front, will give us our best odds for rain Monday-Wednesday.
Long-range CPC outlooks continue to show better than 50/50 odds for above normal precipitation though the end of the month.
