While the best odds for rain continue to be Thursday night and Friday, today’s front #1 could produce some severe storms. From the NWS: “The Storm Prediction Center has upgraded from Level 1 to 2 of 5 Risk for Severe Thunderstorms today. Scattered damaging wind gusts and large hail are the main threats, with isolated very large hail possible across the local area. Tornado chances are low. Also, there is a Level 1 of 4 Risk of for Excessive Rainfall. Isolated 1 to 3 inch rainfall totals today could lead to localized flooding.”
