I’m rooting for the Canadian model and its forecast for lots of rain from Thursday through the 19th!

Thanks to a cut-off low forming in far southern California, we will end up with decent rain chances over a five day period.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued in this area this afternoon.
